Sahakar Azos (Azospirillum)

Sahakar Azo is a Nitrogen Provider: Nitrogen Fixing bio fertilizer that fixes free nitrogen from available in the air and
converts it into Ammonia. Hence it naturally gives the plant Nitrogen without use of Artificial Fertilizer and can fix 10–15
kg Nitrogen per acre.

Available formulation:

Powder– 200 gm, 500 gm, 1000 gm
Liquid-100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml

Dosage:

  • Powder 1kg/Acre and 2.5 kg/hact
  • Liquid 1 ltr/acre and 2.5 ltr/hact

Mode of Action:

Azospirillum spp. contains associative symbiotic Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria, Azospirillum. It fixes atmospheric nitrogen and makes it available to the plants by living in proximity with the root zone Seedling Treatment

Application:

Seed Treatment Mix 400ml of Sahakar Azo in 500 ml of water and mix with 10-15kg of seeds
Soil Treatment 3 ltr/ha in 500 kg of organic fertilizer
Root Dip Treatment

Crops Recommended:

Azospirillum is recommended in non-legume plants such as paddy, millets, oilseeds, sugarcane, banana, coconut, oil palm, cotton, chilly, lime, coffee, tea, spices and herbs. It increases the number and length of lateral roots as well as root area.
