Society has a rich experience in formation and promotion of farmers collectives majorly in the form of FPCs and Cooperative Societies. At present the organisation has formed and promoted more than 57+ FPOs under various government schemes like the Central Sector Scheme for “Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPOs”.
Society offers training programs, workshops, and demonstrations on sustainable farming practices, soil health management, water conservation techniques, integrated pest management, and climate-smart agriculture. This helps farmers enhance their agricultural knowledge and skills to improve their livelihoods.
Facilitating market linkages for FPOs/Farmers by connecting them with buyers, cooperatives, exporters, and other market actors. This helps farmers access larger markets, obtain fair prices for their produce, and improve their income.
Providing access to financial services such as credit, savings, and insurance products tailored to the needs of smallholder farmers. This enables farmers to invest in their farms, purchase inputs, and cope with financial shocks.
Introducing and promoting the use of appropriate agricultural technologies and innovations, such as improved crop varieties, precision farming tools, drip irrigation systems, and post-harvest handling techniques. This helps farmers increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise post-harvest losses.
Promoting sustainable farming practices that protect natural resources, conserve biodiversity, and mitigate climate change. This includes promoting organic farming, agroforestry, conservation agriculture, and reforestation initiatives.
